'The SHO', created and run by couple Emily and Dan (jewellery maker & animator)was set up in September 2010 as an independent venue, a gallery and a shop. With a vision to bridge the gap between different art forms and open the spectrum of gallery expectations. It fuses together traditional art with contemporary digital design and illustration, fueling a gallery/outlet offering affordable art and design pieces. A place where local and upcoming artists as well as established international designers working in diverse mediums will be able to exhibit & sell their work in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. As well as frequently changing exibitions and events, at The SHO you can find 2D & 3D original artwork ranging in price, prints, photography, jewellery, ceramics and wearable design/T-shirts. The venue also offers a range of inspirational products, such as creative literature/magazines, visually stimulating lifestyle accessories, vinyl art collectables and a fun collection of greeting cards.
